Why Global Offshore Recruiters

A crew that knows the water — and the paperwork

We recruit for the Gulf of Mexico only. That focus means we know which operators rotate fastest, which certifications clear on day one, and how to get you on the boat before the roster closes.

01

Certification-first matching

We verify TWIC, SafeGulf, HUET and BOSIET up front, so you only apply to rosters you actually qualify for — no wasted trips to the dock.

02

Direct operator relationships

We work with the crew bosses and barge management who sign the ticket. No ghost listings, no endless middlemen.

03

Rotation and rate advocacy

From 14/7 to 28/14, we negotiate rotation, lodging and per-diem — not just the hourly number.

04

One simple fee, nothing after

A single one-time training fee covers your onboarding. No TWIC fees, no placement fees, no visa charges — ever. Our support continues through your first full rotation.

Marcus Delgado

Roustabout → Derrickman · 28/14 rotation

Placed in 11 days
“I walked in with a TWIC card, a SafeGulf cert and zero rig time. Global Offshore Recruiters told me straight what was missing, got my HUET booked the same week, and had me on a jack-up in the South Timbalier field eleven days later. After my first rotation the driller pushed me up to Derrickman. I went from $16/hr onshore to $35/hr offshore in under a month, and my recruiter still checks in before every crew change.”

“They caught that my IMCA logbook was about to lapse before any operator did. Global Offshore Recruiters handled the renewal paperwork, then lined up two subsea barge jobs at once so I could actually choose the better rotation instead of taking whatever came first.”

Aisha Bello

ROV Technician · $98k/yr

★★★★★ · Placed in 16 days

“No offshore experience at all — just a ServSafe card. They walked me through the water survival test, told me exactly what to bring to the heliport, and I was on a barge by the end of the month. Six months later I'm second cook.”

Renee Okafor

Galley Hand → Cook

★★★★★ · No prior experience

“First remote medic role out of state for me. Global Offshore Recruiters handled the credentialing transfer, my TWIC and BOSIET scheduling, and confirmed my OSHA 30 with the operator before I ever flew out. Nothing was left for me to chase.”

Sam Whitfield, EMT-P

Offshore Medic

★★★★★ · Credentialing handled

“The best thing they did was negotiate 28/14 instead of 14/7, plus per-diem on travel days. Same vessel, same rate — completely different year for my family. Most agencies never even bring rotation up.”

Tomas Lindqvist

AB Seaman · MMC + STCW

★★★★★ · Rotation renegotiated

“I'd been passed over twice because my crane cert paperwork was a mess. They rebuilt my file, verified everything with the operator, and I was on a platform two weeks later at a better rate than I asked for.”

Dwayne Pitre

Crane Operator · API RP 2D

★★★★★ · Better than asking rate

“Two years in a chemical plant onshore and I didn't know it counted. Global Offshore Recruiters mapped my plant experience against the T2 well control requirement and got me interviewed for production the same week.”

Before you apply

Straight answers

Do I need offshore experience to get hired?

No — not for every role. Galley, roustabout and some drilling-crew positions are open with zero rig time as long as you hold (or can quickly get) TWIC, SafeGulf and a physical. We tell you upfront exactly which entry path fits your background.

What does the one-time training fee cover?

Onboarding: certification guidance, roster matching, and support through your first full rotation. There are no placement fees, no TWIC fees, no visa charges and nothing deducted from your paycheck — ever.

Which certifications do I need first?

TWIC is the gate for every role. After that, SafeGulf and HUET (or BOSIET) cover most deck and production rosters. Marine licenses, well-control and trade certs open the higher-rate seats. Send us what you have and we'll map the shortest path.

How do rotations and travel work?

Typical rotations run 14/7, 14/14 or 28/14 depending on the operator. Crew changes are coordinated through the heliport or crew boat, and we negotiate travel-day per-diem where the contract allows.

How fast can I actually get placed?

Our average placement is 14 days. If your paperwork is clean and a roster is open in your trade, it can be as fast as a week — galley and roustabout rosters move fastest.
